SAT English Practice Question
The most common mistake made by people who are learning to write is to use too many commas. In fact, according to a recent study, 90% of high school students make at least one comma error when writing a basic essay. This is probably because people are taught to use commas in so many different situations, and it can be hard to remember when to use them and when not to use them. But while it is true that too many commas can make writing seem choppy, it is also true that a comma in the right place can make writing more clear and concise. Which is a way to improve writing?
- A.use too many commas.
- B.write too many long sentences.
- C.use too many complex words.
- D.use too many short sentences.
